Dr. Harold Jonas, LMHC, MA, CAP , ICADC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional in the State of Florida. He is also a Florida State Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
Dr. Jonas’ undergraduate degree is in Theater and Education. He has effectively blended the disciplines since entering the counseling profession in 1988. He specializes in addictions, providing intervention services, crisis and trauma counseling. He has worked in variety of professional settings including drug treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals and outpatient counseling programs. Some of the job descriptions he has held range from a front line therapist to program director.
In 1994, Dr. Jonas established Intervention Strategies responding to the changes in treatment options and the impact of managed care on the health care industry. He has since conducted numerous "carefrontations" and guided the healing process for many individuals and families onto the road of recovery.
As of 1995, Dr. Jonas diversified and began a drug-free living environment called the Recovery Zone. This is a shared, supportive housing concept designed for people in early recovery who would benefit from a community type living situation. The goal is to assist residents strengthen their commitment to recovery and provide a safe environment to practice living skills. Since beginning operations in November of 1995, three additional facilities have begun and are flourishing.
Jason Ross, PhD, MSEd, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, FL has been working with clients related to both substance abuse and eating disorders in Delray Beach, FL for over three years. Jason holds a PhD in Health Psychology and a Masters in Community and School Psychology.
Dr. Ross is a trained therapist and a wellness coach with over twelve years experience in both physical and mental health. Jason provides personal training services, counseling and coaching for individuals and families. He is well-versed in helping people achieve long lasting weight loss and in helping clients deal with the emotional issues and triggers related to a variety of addictions including drug abuse and eating disorders.
With a keen sense of humor and a number of standup comedy competition wins under his belt, Jason helps families deal with very serious day to day issues related to family dynamics. The son of not one, but two therapists, Jason is the co-author of a Parenting book entitled You Can Say NO and Your Child Will Still Love You which was written with his mother Norma.
