Whenever someone gets drunk, people would always think that the person is alcoholic and is the only one at risk of long-term consequences. College students who are surrounded by binge drinkers would report being a victim of hideous cases such as rape and assault whenever the students get drunk. These students who would binge drink are reported to be living in sorority of frat houses than those that are living under the roof of their parents.
College students are not the only ones who are binge drinking but also high school students. With 10 high school students, there are 4 students who are reported to be drinkers. Around USA, there is a huge percentage of adults who binge drink and most of it are in the northern areas.
There are various effects that people who binge drink may suffer. Short term effects would include hangovers, vomiting, nausea, memory loss, weight gain and alcohol poisoning. Long term effects would include brain, liver and heart problems and other may lead to other serious problems such as sexual problems and cancer.
